Hey, I haven't talked to you in a while, so I'm just stopping by to see how you are. Having a good summer? Or if class isn't over yet for you, can you wait for summer?

Neither LeGuin or Jordan are Christian authors, but they are good. For LeGuin, you can pick up any of her sci-fi books to start with, but I recommend "Roccanon's World," since that is the first of a cycle. Her fantasy series is called "Earthsea," and is four books in length. The first is simply called "Earthsea."
Jordan's work is an eleven-book epic saga called The Wheel of Time, the first book of which is "The Eye of the World." My favorite series. He recently died of a rare heart disease, and left notes on his last book to his wife, who decided to go ahead and finish it. Takes a long time to read, but well worth it, and so much happens you'll never notice how much time has gone by.

I honestly don't know if my last post went through so I'm re-replying just in case .
Sweet, Third Christian gamer FTW!
Yeah, Garth Nix rocks. I think I've read every book by him except Ragwitch. My favorite series is Abhorsen I have it in a three-in-one compilation book that's pretty nice. Next is Keys to The Kingdom *is waiting for Superior Saturday*. And then last is the seventh tower which I actually don't own yet.
I'll have to check out those authors. What books by them would you suggest? Just recently, I found Ted Dekker and Frank Perretti so I've been reading them and they write some pretty good Christian thrillers.
Dude, that's awesome! You're officially the third Christian gamer on this site that I'm aware of. The other is 6od53nt.
And Garth Nix...one of the best. I read Seventh Tower way back in sixth grade; needless to say, I've been waiting for someone to make a game for that card game ever since. Abhorsen was great, and is one of my favorites.
Now I must recommend two authors whom I love: Robert Jordan and Ursula K. LeGuin. Both are awesome. Jordan has a huge 11 (soon to be 12) book epic story; one of the best I've ever read; LeGuin has a really unique writing style that I can't help but love. She does mostly sci-fi, but has an awesome fantasy series entitled Earthsea.
